Dental crown advise?

Hi, so I had a bad crown put on a tooth with an open margin and long story short I’m going with a new dentist and I am going to have to pay 1500 out of pocket to put a new crown on. I am moving to another state in a month and I’m somewhat hesitant to pay that much for a crown where if something goes wrong with it I won’t be in the same state anymore so I couldn’t exactly have them fix it. I was wondering if a crown falls off later on, if so, will a new dentist replace it?
