Failed filling?

18 months ago, I had my lower first molar filled. My bite was not straight and my habit of clenching my jaws caused me severe pain. My regular dentist, Covid, was there when I returned to adjust the filling for the seventh time. The dentist filled in file led my tongue cusps to be completely flat and also filed the three remaining molars on my left side. Since then my first molar has been slightly cold sensitive and if I eat anything hard or crunchy I get a sharp pain right where the filling meets what’s left of the lingual side of the molar. I have had Xrays and there is nothing wrong. What should you do?
